The GF4 SAX-2T is GForce Arms' take on the classic tactical semi-auto shotgun, and it packs a lot of practical hardware into a tight 39.75 inch package. Built by Radikal around an inertia-driven action, it cycles fast, runs clean, and keeps felt recoil manageable whether you are feeding it 2.75 or 3 inch shells. The 18.5 inch barrel is machined from 4140 chromoly steel, the receiver is aluminum alloy to keep the whole gun right around 7 pounds, and the tube magazine gives you 5+1 on board.
Out of the box you get a ghost ring rear paired with a fiber optic front, which is a genuinely useful sight setup for a defensive shotgun. The rear ring gets you on target fast up close, and the bright front post stays visible when the light gets ugly. Want a red dot instead? The Picatinny rail on top of the receiver handles that. Down below, the aluminum M-LOK forend is the standout feature of this particular model, giving you solid attachment points for a light, hand stop, or sling hardware without clamp-on adapters. There is also a front sling ring already in place.
The barrel is threaded for Benelli Crio pattern chokes, and GForce includes Cylinder, Modified, and Full tubes. That means this is not strictly a home defense gun. Screw in the Full choke and it will handle turkey season or longer range patterning duty, then swap back to Cylinder for buckshot work. The black synthetic stock wears a rubber recoil pad with a 14 inch length of pull, and a cross bolt safety keeps operation simple and familiar. GForce backs it with a limited lifetime warranty, which is reassuring at this price point. For a do-it-all defensive semi-auto that leaves room in the budget for ammo and an optic, the GF4 is tough to argue with.
It has a 3 inch chamber and cycles both 2.75 and 3 inch 12 gauge shells. Like most inertia-driven shotguns, it thrives on standard-weight field, buckshot, and slug loads. If you plan to shoot very light target loads, give the gun a proper break-in first and pattern-test what you plan to keep in it.
Yes. The receiver comes with a Picatinny rail on top, so most shotgun-height red dots will bolt right on. If you prefer irons, the factory ghost ring rear and fiber optic front are ready to go out of the box.
