The GForce Arms GF25 is a magazine-fed, gas-operated semi-auto built on AR-style ergonomics, so the safety, grip angle, and general handling all feel familiar the moment you shoulder it. Instead of thumbing shells into a tube, you swap a magazine and get back on target. This Tungsten Gray Cerakote version pairs a clean, modern look with a finish that shrugs off scratches and weather better than plain bluing.
The 18.5 inch chromoly steel smoothbore barrel is threaded for Benelli Mobil-pattern chokes, so you can tighten or open your patterns depending on the job. The 3 inch chamber runs both 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells, and like most gas-driven shotguns in this class, it wants ammo moving at 1,300 fps or faster to cycle reliably. Keep that in mind when you stock up, because light target loads under that threshold will give you short strokes. Feed it warm birdshot, buckshot, or slugs and it hums right along. It ships with one 5-round magazine and accepts MKA 1919-style mags and drums, which opens up plenty of aftermarket capacity options.
Flip-up front and rear sights come installed, and the top Picatinny rail takes a red dot without any gunsmithing. The free-floated handguard gives you room for a light or forward grip, QD sling cups are built in, and the adjustable cheek rest on the polymer stock lets you get a proper sight picture whether you are running irons or an optic. The rubberized pistol grip keeps things planted when the recoil starts rolling.
At around 8 pounds with a 38 inch overall length, the GF25 is compact enough to maneuver indoors and heavy enough to soak up 12 gauge thump. GForce Arms backs it with a limited lifetime warranty, which is a nice bit of peace of mind on a mag-fed scattergun at this level. For range days, 3-gun practice, or keeping close at home, it is a lot of shotgun in a tidy package.
The GF25 runs MKA 1919-pattern magazines, including higher-capacity mags and drums built for 3 inch shells. One 5-round magazine comes in the box, and the aftermarket for the 1919 pattern gives you plenty of options if you want more capacity for range days or competition.
Like most gas-operated mag-fed shotguns, the GF25 needs loads rated at 1,300 fps or faster to cycle consistently. Standard buckshot, slugs, and most quality birdshot loads meet that mark without issue. Bargain-bin light target loads under that velocity are the usual culprit when semi-autos short stroke, so check the box before you buy in bulk.
Yes, the full-length top Picatinny rail takes red dots and other optics with standard mounts, no gunsmithing required. The flip-up front and rear sights fold down out of the way when an optic is installed, and the adjustable cheek rest helps you line up behind whichever sighting setup you choose.
