The Fusion XP Comp Ambi Thumbrest is the top-shelf version of Fusion's XP Comp lineup, a Custom Shop exclusive built for shooters who want the flattest, fastest 9mm the company makes. It starts with the proven XP platform, a 1911-based wide-body that feeds from standard Glock 17 magazines, then stacks on every recoil-taming feature Fusion offers. You get the integrated threadless compensator paired with four precision-cut ports on top of the slide, plus ambidextrous thumbrest gas pedals machined right into the frame. That combination vents gas upward and gives both hands something to push against, which keeps the dot or sights tracking flat shot after shot.
It shoots like a competition gun because that's exactly what it was designed to be. The 4.6" Clark/Para ramped bull barrel, one-piece full-length guide rod, and one-piece steel milled trigger all work toward a soft, consistent impulse and a clean break. Fusion builds these entirely from bar-stock steel and aluminum, CNC machines them, hand-finishes the parts, and coats everything in Tenifer QPQ for serious corrosion resistance and a long service life.

Novak-compatible combat sights come installed, the rear sits on a removable plate, and an RMR/SRO mounting plate is included so you can run a red dot without sending the slide off for milling.
