Your AR-15 needs a barrel, bolt, and magazines specifically chambered in .224 Valkyrie. The cartridge uses 6.8 SPC magazines and requires a different bolt carrier group than standard 5.56 NATO. Don't attempt to fire .224 Valkyrie in a 5.56 or .223 rifle, as it will not chamber safely.
The 90 grain Fusion load reaches approximately 2700 feet per second with a 0.424 ballistic coefficient, making it effective past 1000 yards in the right conditions. For hunting, most people find it practical within 300 yards, though the cartridge remains supersonic past 1300 yards.
