Anyone who has tried to change a Glock front sight knows the retaining screw is hiding under the slide and it laughs at regular screwdrivers. That is exactly the problem Ed Brown built this tool to solve. It fits the small hex head screw that holds Glock front sights in place, giving you clean, square contact so you can loosen it or torque it back down without chewing up the head or slipping and scratching your slide.
The business end is a thin-wall hex driver machined to reach down into that narrow gap between the slide and the sight screw. Where this tool earns its keep is the shank. It drops right into Magna-Tip and other magnetic screwdriver handles, along with standard 1/4 inch drivers, so you get real leverage and control instead of pinching a tiny bit between your fingers. Pair it with a good driver handle and that stubborn factory screw comes loose a lot easier.
Ed Brown made this to work across the Glock lineup, though it is worth knowing it is not meant for the longer 6 inch slides. Certain Glocks may need the hole in the slide opened up just slightly for the tool to seat fully, which is normal for this style of driver. When you install a replacement set, thread the sight screw up through the slide and use the tool to snug it down. Go firm but not gorilla-tight, since these screws are small and a little thread locker does more to keep things in place than brute force.

Yes. This is a driver bit, not a complete tool with its own handle. The hex shank is designed to slip into Magna-Tip and other magnetic screwdriver handles, as well as standard 1/4 inch drivers, which is what gives you the leverage to break the screw loose and torque it back down.
