A good sling is only as reliable as what it hooks to, and the Fortis QD End Plate gives you a mounting point that stays put through hard use. It swaps in for your standard carbine end plate and adds an integrated quick detach swivel socket right at the rear of the lower, so you can clip in a QD swivel and get moving. It's machined from 6061 aluminum with a black mil-spec anodized finish, and every edge inside and out is fully radiused to keep your sling webbing from fraying over time.
This plate is built for carbine-style buffer tubes on both AR-15 and .308/AR-10 platforms, and it installs the exact same way as any mil-spec end plate. If you've swapped a castle nut and end plate before, you already know the drill: back off the castle nut, slide the new plate on, torque it back down, and stake it.
