The Fortis Camber Rail 15.3 M-LOK in black is a free-float AR-15 handguard that leans hard into rigidity without piling on weight. It runs on the Camber Lock mounting system, which uses a stainless steel barrel nut paired with proprietary locking camber nuts to clamp everything down tight. That combo is what gives this rail its reputation for a truly solid, wobble-free interface, and it means your zero on any rail-mounted optic or laser stays put.
Plenty of handguards float the barrel, but the Camber Lock is where this one earns its keep. The stainless barrel nut and locking nuts are purpose-built for a no-flex fit, and the whole system was designed to be easy to service down the road. Installation only calls for a quality castle nut wrench and the T30 Torx L-key that comes in the box, so you can torque it down in a few minutes and pull it back off just as easily when it's time to clean or swap parts.
This one gives you plenty of mounting options. You get M-LOK slots at the standard 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, plus additional slots at the 1:30, 4:30, 7:30, and 10:30 clock positions for lights, pressure switches, and offset accessories. Up top is a continuous Picatinny rail for irons, optics, or a night vision setup, and there are QD sling sockets machined into the rear so you can run a two-point sling without adding hardware.
The body is machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish, and the barrel nut is stainless steel. It carries a 1.34-inch internal diameter, weighs in around 9.98 ounces for the handguard, and mates up perfectly with a 16.1-inch barrel, making it a natural fit for a standard 16-inch carbine or mid-length build. You'll need a quality armorer's or castle nut wrench to torque the stainless steel barrel nut, which isn't included. The T30 Torx L-key needed to lock down the camber nuts does come in the box, so the whole install takes just a few minutes and is just as easy to reverse when you need to service the rifle.
