There's a reason the Carbon Rage keeps showing up on the backs of hunters who put real miles on their boots. Fierce took everything people liked about their Edge rifle and built on it, wrapping a match grade, hand-lapped barrel liner in carbon fiber to cut weight without giving up stiffness or accuracy. This one is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 24 inch barrel and a 1:8 twist, which is exactly what that cartridge wants for stabilizing the long, high-BC bullets it's famous for. The muzzle is threaded and ships with a radial brake, so recoil on an already mild cartridge becomes almost an afterthought.
The heart of this rifle is Fierce's 3-lug Triad action with a fast 70 degree bolt throw. That short bolt lift keeps your hand clear of larger scope eyepieces and makes follow-up shots quicker when it counts. The three position safety lets you cycle the bolt and unload with the rifle still on safe, a small detail you learn to appreciate at the end of a long day. Feeding comes from a detachable Speed Box magazine holding four rounds, with one more in the chamber. The trigger is a genuine Bix'n Andy, adjustable and crisp, the kind of trigger you normally see on custom builds.
The Fierce Tech C3 Monte Carlo stock is molded carbon fiber with an integral bipod rail up front, and the Phantom Camo finish pairs nicely with the Tungsten Gray Cerakote metalwork. At roughly 6.3 pounds bare, this is a rifle you can haul up a ridge without cursing it, yet it still settles in and shoots. Fierce backs it with a half MOA accuracy guarantee and a limited lifetime warranty, which tells you how much confidence they have in the barrel work.
The receiver comes drilled and tapped, so plan on adding a quality scope and rings. Feed it good factory match or hunting ammo, spend an afternoon at the bench getting dialed, and this thing is ready for antelope flats or timberline mule deer alike.
No, the rifle ships without an optic. The receiver comes drilled and tapped from the factory, so you'll want to pick up a base or rail and rings suited to your scope. Given the accuracy this barrel is capable of, it's worth putting quality glass on top.
Fierce backs their rifles with a half MOA accuracy guarantee, which puts this in the same conversation as many custom builds. The C3 carbon fiber barrel uses a match grade, hand-lapped liner, and the 1:8 twist stabilizes the heavier 140 to 147 grain bullets 6.5 Creedmoor shooters tend to favor. Like any precision rifle, it will have favorite loads, so try a few factory offerings to find what it likes.
Yes. The 24 inch barrel is threaded at the muzzle and the radial brake simply spins off. Just make sure your suppressor mount matches the thread pitch, and keep in mind removing the brake will change your point of impact slightly, so reconfirm zero afterward.
That's exactly what it was built for. At roughly 6.3 pounds before optics, it's noticeably lighter than most standard sporter rifles, and the carbon fiber barrel and stock keep it stiff and weather resistant. The Monte Carlo stock also has an integral bipod rail, so you can set up for longer shots without extra hardware.
