The ExoMag is a purpose-built 9mm magazine that solves a real problem for AR builders. Instead of dealing with magwell adapters or proprietary magazine systems, you get a magazine that looks and feels like a standard AR mag but feeds 9mm ammo through your lower receiver without modification. It comes fully assembled and ready to run right out of the box.
This ejectorless version is specifically designed for systems like the MEAN Arms bearing delay upper or CMMG radial delay bolts, which handle the extraction themselves. The magazine body uses injection-molded polymer for durability and corrosion resistance, while a high-tensile steel spring and polymer follower keep everything running smooth under stress. You can run standard 9mm ammo, hollow points included, without worrying about feed issues.
What makes this magazine stand out is how seamlessly it integrates with your existing setup. You're keeping your standard 5.56 lower receiver unchanged, your mag pouches work the same way, and your reload muscle memory transfers directly from rifle shooting. No learning curve, no adapters, no tools needed. The magazine holds open on the last round, giving you that AR-15 functionality you expect.
The 10-round capacity keeps things practical for users in restricted areas while still giving you reasonable shooting windows. The special polymer construction handles environmental stress without degradation, and the internal spring system maintains consistent feeding tension through the magazine's life. Whether you're running it through a bearing delay or radial delay system, this magazine pairs with those platforms to deliver the reliability you need.
No, this is the ejectorless version designed specifically for bearing delay or CMMG radial delay systems. If you have a standard blowback 9mm upper, you'll need the ejector version instead. The difference is that bearing delay and radial delay systems handle extraction through the bolt, so the magazine doesn't need an ejector.
Yes. The ExoMag keeps the same STANAG magazine shape and dimensions as a rifle magazine, so your existing mag pouches, carriers, and storage solutions all work without any changes. Your reload technique stays the same too, which is a big deal if you're training regularly.
The magazine is engineered to handle standard 9mm ammo of all types, including hollow points. As long as you're using factory ammunition within normal 9mm specifications, feed reliability stays consistent. Reload your own ammo? Just follow standard 9mm loading specs and you should be good.
No modifications needed. The magazine drops into your standard rifle magazine well without adapters or tools. It comes fully assembled and ready to use immediately. This is one of the main advantages of the ExoMag system over other 9mm conversion methods.
