The DNT ZULUS HD 5-20X V2 is a do-it-all digital day and night vision riflescope that earns its keep from bright afternoon sun to the darkest part of the night. At the heart of it sits Sony's STARVIS 2 sensor paired with ED glass and a 60Hz 1920×1080 Micro-OLED display, so the picture stays sharp whether you're glassing a feeder at midday or picking out a hog at dusk. The 5x to 20x digital magnification range gives you the flexibility to scan wide up close and reach out for a positive ID well past 300 yards.
The big draw here is the built-in laser rangefinder. It reads distance from 5 out to 1,100 yards, then feeds that number straight into the onboard ballistic calculator for real-time drop compensation. You can tune your ballistic profiles right on the unit or fine-tune them through the DNT phone app over Wi-Fi. That combo of ranging and holdover solution in one package is a big reason this scope has become a favorite for predator and hog hunters who want to make the shot count on the first try.
The V2 ships with a detachable 850nm VCSEL IR illuminator that lights up the dark, and you can swap it for a 940nm unit if you want to run more discreet. The 21700 flat-top battery stretches runtime to around 10 hours, which is enough for a full night without babysitting the charge. DNT also upgraded the eye relief to 65mm and swapped the old magnification wheel for a traditional-style lever that's easy to work with gloves on.
The housing carries an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating and is recoil-rated up to .50 BMG, so it'll hold zero on just about anything you bolt it to. Onboard photo and video recording with audio lets you save the hunt, and multiple reticle options plus diopter adjustment round out a package that's genuinely ready to go the night you pull it out of the box.
