Built at Derya Arms' Jacksonville, Florida facility, this 9mm striker-fired pistol takes a proven Glock-pattern platform and adds a serious list of practical upgrades that most guns in this price range simply don't include. The standout feature on this particular variant is the PVD gold barrel contrasted against a hard black melonite finish on the slide and frame. It looks sharp, but the finish is doing real work too — melonite is a salt bath nitride process known for excellent corrosion resistance and surface hardness.

It features a short, deliberate pre-travel that leads to a clearly defined wall, then a clean break followed by a positive, tactile reset. The stock pull weight runs around 5 to 5.5 lbs, which is light enough to feel good but still appropriate for a carry or home defense setup.
The DY9 ships with two universal optic adapter plates that cover popular footprints from TruGlo, Docter, Meopta, Insight, Vortex, and Trijicon.
