At just 1.8 ounces and 1.105 inches long, this 1/2-28 taper mount gives you fast, repeatable suppressor attachment while barely adding anything to your setup. The large taper and left-hand device threads lock things up consistently shot after shot, so your zero stays put every time you pull the can off and put it back on.
The short profile is not just about saving weight. Because the mount barely enters the blast chamber, your suppressor keeps more of its internal volume working for you, which translates to better sound performance compared to longer mounts that eat up space inside the can. The 9mm through bore makes this version a natural fit for 9mm hosts like PCCs and subguns, and the trim dimensions also work nicely on bolt guns with slim barrel contours where 1/2-28 threads are the norm. Built-in 3/4 inch wrench flats mean installation and removal are simple with tools you already have in the range bag.
Dead Air machines the Xeno Xero from 4140 heat-treated alloy steel and coats it in black nitride, so it handles heat, carbon, and weather without complaint. The 0.99 inch outside diameter keeps everything low profile on the muzzle when you are running the gun bare.
This mount works with all Dead Air Xeno adapters, which covers the Sierra 5 out of the box and cans like the Nomad series, Primal, Wolfman, and Ghost 45 with the appropriate Xeno or Xeno P-Series adapter. HUB-compatible suppressors from other makers can join the party with a Xeno adapter as well. Just remember the adapter is sold separately, so make sure your can is set up for the Xeno system before you order.
