The vented shroud redirects gas to fight muzzle rise and felt recoil, so your sights settle faster between shots and follow-ups come easier. Installation takes seconds and nothing about it requires a bench or a vise. The included front cap is sized for .45 caliber, and since it is a standard P-Series cap, you can swap it out for other P-Series front caps if you want to tighten things up for a smaller bore.
