Dead Air flash hiders do a great job keeping muzzle flash down, but there are days when you care a lot more about a flat-shooting rifle than a dim signature. That is exactly the problem the Pyro 2.0 solves. Instead of swapping muzzle devices or breaking out a torque wrench, you spin the Pyro shroud onto the muzzle device you already have mounted, and just like that your flash hider is pulling double duty as a full-on brake. When you want the flash hider back, take the Pyro off and you are right back where you started.
This version, part number DA466C, is set up for the Xeno mounting system. In the box you get the Pyro 2.0 vented shroud, the DA457 Xeno adapter, and a .45 caliber P-Series front cap. The shroud itself is HUB compatible, which is why the adapter setup works so cleanly. Thread the Xeno adapter into the shroud, install it over your Xeno muzzle device, and you are done. The front cap swaps out with other P-Series caps too, so if you run multiple calibers you can size the bore opening to match without buying a whole new unit.
Big-bore and pistol-caliber builds tend to have plenty of muzzle rise for their size, and a good brake makes a noticeable difference in how fast you get back on target. The Pyro vents gas to fight recoil and keep the muzzle flatter through strings of fire, which pays off whether you are running drills or just making range days more pleasant. It also works as a blast shield of sorts, directing concussion forward and away instead of letting your unsuppressed muzzle device bark straight back at the firing line.
Keep in mind this kit is built around Dead Air's Xeno system, so you need a compatible Xeno muzzle device already on your barrel for it to mount. If you are running KeyMo instead, Dead Air offers a KeyMo version of the Pyro 2.0, and since the shroud is HUB compatible the adapter can be changed down the road if your setup evolves.

Yes, within reason. The DA466C ships with a .45 caliber P-Series front cap, but that cap is interchangeable with other P-Series front caps, so you can swap in a cap sized for a different bore. Just make sure the cap you install is appropriate for the caliber you are running.
No, and that is the trade-off by design. The Pyro is all about recoil reduction and muzzle control, so expect more visible flash than you get from a bare flash hider. The nice part is it installs and removes in seconds, so you can switch between the two depending on what the day calls for.
Not with the adapter in this kit, since the DA457 is Xeno-specific. Dead Air does make a KeyMo version of the Pyro 2.0, and because the shroud is HUB compatible, the adapter can be swapped if your mounting system changes later on.
