The Scout XP-SB keeps the same strong, simple break action the platform is known for, then swaps the traditional stock for a buffer tube setup with a pistol grip. That means adjustable length of pull for different shooters and layers of clothing, plus bolt-on cheek risers so you can get your eye lined up behind a scope the same way every single time. If you have ever fought a fixed comb trying to find your sight picture, you will appreciate how much difference that makes.
The 6mm ARC chambering is a smart match for this rifle. It shoots flat, recoil is mild, and it carries plenty of energy for deer, hogs, and predators well past the distances most of us are shooting in the field. The 16.5 inch stainless steel barrel is fluted to shed weight and threaded at the muzzle, so adding a suppressor or muzzle device is as easy as spinning it on. Between the short barrel and the compact stock, this thing handles beautifully in a shooting house, a ground blind, or thick cover where a full-length rifle feels like a canoe paddle.

The SB designation points to the shorter, handier barrel compared to the 20 inch Scout XP rifles.
It does not ship with iron sights or an optic. The receiver wears a Picatinny rail, so mounting a scope or red dot with standard rings is quick and simple. Most folks set this rifle up with a compact hunting scope in the 2-7x or 3-9x range and call it done.
