The .300 Blackout cartridge was designed from the ground up to burn efficiently in short barrels, and the Banshee MK4 leans all the way into that idea. CMMG built this one around an 8-inch 4140 chrome moly barrel with a salt bath nitride finish, a medium taper profile, a 1:7 twist, and 5/8×24 muzzle threads capped from the factory with CMMG's Zeroed linear compensator, which pushes blast and concussion forward instead of back at you. The EML7 handguard runs M-LOK slots along the sides, bottom, and between the top Picatinny sections, so lights, lasers, and hand stops all have a home. It feeds from standard AR-15 magazines and comes with a 30-round Magpul PMAG in the box. Since the lower accepts standard AR parts and accessories, anything you already own for the platform carries right over. No, this model ships optics ready with a bare full-length Picatinny rail on top. Most owners mount a red dot or a compact LPVO, and there is plenty of rail space to add backup iron sights if you want them. Plan your optic purchase alongside the gun so you are ready for the first range trip.
