The CMMG Dissent Mk3 takes the proven Blackout philosophy and scales it up to .338-caliber projectiles on an AR-10-sized platform. The result is a compact pistol that punches well above its size, whether you're chasing hogs at night with a thermal and a can, or just want a serious big-bore PDW that's easy to handle.
What makes the Dissent line stand out is the bufferless Compact Action. CMMG ditched the traditional buffer tube and action spring, which is how you get a folding brace on an AR-10 action in the first place. That keeps overall length down for storage and transport without giving up the familiar manual of arms. You also get a reversible, non-reciprocating forward charging handle and CMMG's ZEROED 60/90-degree safety, so lefties and righties can set it up to suit them.
The 12.5" barrel runs a fast 1:3 twist, which is the sweet spot for stabilizing the long, heavy .338 bullets 8.6 Blackout is built around. That fast spin is what lets subsonic loads expand reliably and stay accurate, something 300 BLK can struggle with at subsonic speeds. An adjustable gas block lets you tune the gun for whatever you're feeding it, supersonic or subsonic, suppressed or bare muzzle. The barrel wears a black nitride finish and is threaded 5/8×24 for a .338-rated suppressor or muzzle device.
Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum finished in Coyote Tan Cerakote, topped with a full-length Picatinny rail and an M-LOK handguard for optics, lights, and whatever else you run. The ZEROED single-stage drop-in trigger breaks clean at around 4.5 pounds. It ships with the SB Tactical FS1913A folding brace and two Magpul 20-round PMAGs, so you're ready to go.
