The 22 ARC cartridge is one of the more exciting things to happen to the AR-15 in years, and CMMG wasted no time building a rifle worthy of it. The Resolute MK4 pairs that flat-shooting, fast-moving .22 caliber round with a 16.1 inch 4140 chrome moly barrel finished in salt bath nitride, spun with a 1:7 twist to stabilize the heavy-for-caliber bullets that make 22 ARC shine at distance. Think varmint-rifle velocity out of a carbine you can carry all day. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 and wears a ZEROED muzzle brake from the factory, and an adjustable gas block lets you fine tune the system for suppressed use or specific loads.
A lot of factory ARs ship with mil-spec everything and expect you to upgrade later. Not this one. The Resolute MK4 comes standard with CMMG's ZEROED drop-in single stage trigger, ambidextrous charging handle, ambi safety selector, and ambi magazine catch, so lefties get a rifle that works for them right out of the box. The billet 6061 upper sits on a forged 7075 lower, and the whole rifle is coated in durable Coyote Tan Cerakote that shrugs off weather and rough handling.
Up front, the EML15 M-LOK handguard skips the full-length top rail in favor of M-LOK slots at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, trimming weight while leaving plenty of real estate for lights, bipods, and sling mounts. Out back, CMMG's 6-position RipStock snaps to your preferred length of pull the instant you shoulder it, no fumbling with a lever required.
At 6.4 pounds and 32.5 inches overall, this is a natural fit for coyote and varmint work, steel at distance, or anyone who wants genuine long-range .22 centerfire performance without stepping up to a heavier platform. It ships with one 10-round magazine and no sights, so the flat top receiver is a blank canvas for the optic of your choice. CMMG backs it with their Lifetime Quality Guarantee.
The 22 ARC is a newer .22 caliber centerfire cartridge designed to deliver ballistics in the neighborhood of the classic 22-250, but from a standard AR-15 platform. It pushes heavy .22 caliber bullets faster and flatter than 5.56, which makes it a strong pick for varmint hunting and long-range steel. The 1:7 twist barrel on this rifle is built specifically to stabilize those heavier projectiles.
No, this rifle ships without sights. The flat top upper receiver and the 12 o'clock M-LOK section on the EML15 handguard give you plenty of mounting options, so you can set it up with a scope, red dot, or backup irons depending on how you plan to use it. Given the reach of the 22 ARC cartridge, most owners top it with a magnified optic.
It comes well set up for it. The barrel is threaded 1/2×28 behind the factory ZEROED muzzle brake, and the adjustable gas block lets you dial back gas flow to run smoothly with a can attached. That combination means you can go suppressed without hunting down aftermarket parts.
CMMG builds the Resolute MK4 with an ambidextrous charging handle, ambi safety selector, and ambi magazine catch, all from their USA-made ZEROED parts line. Left-handed users get full functionality without swapping anything, and right-handed folks benefit from easier one-handed manipulation.
