There's a real story behind this one. Back in 2017, an active U.S. Marshal reached out to Cimarron asking for a rifle he could carry in the line of duty. Cimarron answered with the 1873 US Marshal Indian Territory Carbine, a faithful copy of an 1873 carbine that Judge Isaac Parker, the famous hanging judge of Fort Smith, presented to one of his Marshals in 1880. The stock is trimmed slightly and the barrel runs two inches shorter than the original, which makes for a quick handling little carbine that shoulders fast and rides easy in a truck or scabbard.
Like Cimarron's other period rifles, this one is built exclusively for them by A. Uberti of Italy, and the fit and finish show it. The toggle link action is the same basic design that earned the 1873 its reputation as the gun that won the West, and it cycles with that smooth, distinctive feel lever gun fans keep coming back to. You get a blued 18.5 inch round barrel, a straight grip walnut stock with a blued buttplate, U.S. Marshal markings, and a classic blade front sight paired with a ladder style rear that lets you dial in for distance the old fashioned way.

The rifle is a copy of an 1873 carbine that Judge Isaac Parker presented to one of his serving Marshals in 1880, back when Marshals patrolled the Indian Territory that later became Oklahoma. Cimarron developed this model after an active U.S. Marshal requested a rifle he could carry on duty.
Compared to the original 1873 carbine it copies, the stock is shortened slightly and the barrel is trimmed about two inches to 18.5 inches. Those changes make it faster handling and easier to maneuver, whether that's from a saddle scabbard, a truck cab, or moving between stages at a cowboy action match. It also wears U.S. Marshal markings as a nod to its heritage.
