Christensen Arms brought that build quality into a production rifle with the Summit Ti, and this 6.8 Western version is one of the smartest pairings in the lineup. The Rem 700 pattern titanium action is machined with an integrated split 0 MOA Picatinny rail, so there are no separate bases to work loose, and the spiral fluted bolt with a skeletonized handle keeps the whole package running smooth while trimming weight where it counts.
At roughly 5.5 pounds bare, this rifle disappears on a pack frame. The 24 inch barrel is 416R stainless wrapped in aerograde carbon fiber, cut in a light target contour that stays stiffer than a bare steel tube of the same weight. It's button rifled with a 1-in-7.5 twist, hand lapped, free floated, and finished with a match chamber. The muzzle wears standard 5/8×24 threads with a removable titanium radial brake, which takes real bite out of 6.8 Western recoil in a rifle this light. The natural carbon thumbhole stock adds an enhanced comb and a modified beavertail forearm, with full length bedding and carbon fiber pillars keeping the action seated consistently shot after shot.
The 6.8 Western chambering is a natural fit here. It launches heavy, high-BC .277 caliber bullets at magnum-class energy with less recoil than the big 7mm and .30 caliber belted rounds, and that fast 7.5 twist stabilizes the long 165 to 175 grain projectiles the cartridge was designed around. Elk, mule deer, long cross-canyon shots, this combination handles all of it.
Feeding comes from a 3+1 internal magazine with a hinged floorplate and billet aluminum bottom metal, and the receiver accepts aftermarket AICS detachable mag conversion kits if you prefer that route. A fully adjustable match trigger and Christensen's half-MOA accuracy guarantee round out a rifle that earns its place at the top of the safe.

The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24, which is the standard pitch for most .30 caliber and smaller suppressors and muzzle devices. The titanium radial brake is removable, and a stainless thread protector is included for shooting with a bare muzzle. Just check that your can is rated for 6.8 Western pressures before mounting up.
