The 27-inch tube gives the big .338 Lapua case room to burn its powder and build velocity, the 1:9.3 twist stabilizes heavy match bullets, and the barrel is hand lapped, free floated, and finished with a match chamber. Up top, the Black Nitride treated action features a full-length integral 20 MOA Picatinny rail machined right into the receiver, so there is no separate base to shift or work loose under recoil.
A lightweight .338 Lapua only works if the muzzle device does its job, and the removable stainless side-baffle brake on this rifle takes real bite out of the recoil impulse. It threads onto a standard 5/8×24 muzzle, so swapping to a suppressor or different device is simple.
