For best results, yes. Since .380 ACP is a rimless cartridge designed for semi-auto pistols, the moon clips position the rounds correctly in the cylinder and let the ejector kick out all five empties at once. Two TK Customs moon clips come with the gun, and extras are available separately. Picking up a few spares is a good idea if you plan on regular range sessions.
Noticeably softer. The .380 runs at lower pressure with a lighter bullet than .38 Special, and the Coyote's ported barrel cuts muzzle flip even further.
