At just 19 ounces, it rides comfortably in a holster all day, which is something most .44 caliber handguns cannot claim.
The barrel, cylinder, and frame on this model are all steel wearing Charter's Black Passivate finish, a treatment that stands up well to holster wear and the kind of moisture a carry gun sees day in and day out. The rosewood grips are a nice departure from the usual rubber, giving the gun a classic wheelgun look while still filling the hand well.
