The Charles Daly 202 delivers that traditional double-gun experience without the traditional double-gun price tag, wrapping a laser-engraved steel receiver, blued 26-inch vent rib barrels, and a nicely checkered walnut stock and forend into a trim package that weighs right around 6.2 pounds. Chambers are cut for 3-inch shells and run 2-3/4 inch loads just as happily, so you've got flexibility whether you're breaking clays or chasing birds.
The .410 bore gets a reputation as an expert's gauge, and there's truth to that on the skeet field, but it's also one of the most enjoyable ways to spend an afternoon shooting. Recoil is almost nonexistent, which makes this a great gun for newer wingshooters, smaller-framed folks, or anyone who wants to shoot a few hundred rounds without feeling it the next day. The single selective trigger with mechanical reset lets you pick which barrel fires first, extractors lift your hulls for easy removal (and easy saving, if you reload), and the top tang safety falls right under your thumb where it belongs.
Charles Daly includes five choke tubes with this one: Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full. The threading follows the widely used Beretta/Benelli Mobil pattern, so finding extended or specialty tubes down the road is simple. Screw in the Skeet tube for the range, tighten things up with Modified or Full for late-season birds, and the same gun covers all of it.
With a 43-inch overall length, 13-7/8 inch length of pull, and that light overall weight, this gun swings quick and carries easy through a long day in the field. A fiber optic front sight sits atop the vent rib to pull your eye down the barrel in any light. It's a handsome, well-balanced double that punches above its weight in fit and finish.

This model uses the Beretta/Benelli Mobil choke thread pattern, one of the most common on the market. It ships with five tubes covering Skeet through Full, and aftermarket Mobil-pattern tubes from brands like Carlson's or Briley will thread right in.
The 202 uses extractors, which lift the spent hulls out of the chambers so you can pluck them by hand rather than launching them into the grass. A lot of folks prefer this setup since it keeps your empties handy for reloading and keeps brass off the ground at the range.
It's a strong pick for that role. The single selective trigger, tang safety, and included choke set cover the fundamentals of a proper double gun, and the .410 chambering keeps recoil mild for new or recoil-sensitive wingshooters. At roughly 6.2 pounds it also carries and swings comfortably for smaller-framed hunters.
