The METE MC9L is what happened when Canik took their popular micro-compact MC9 and gave it a longer grip with room for 17+1 rounds of 9mm. That's full-size capacity in a pistol that measures just 6.27 inches long and 1.14 inches wide, tipping the scale at a hair over 22 ounces unloaded. The extra grip real estate is the part people notice first at the counter. You get a full firing grip with your pinky planted, which makes a real difference in how this thing handles compared to shorter micro nines.
The 3.18-inch barrel sits under a black nitride finished steel slide with serrations that give you solid purchase for press checks and racking. The slide is cut for direct mounting of RMSc footprint micro red dots, and the factory sights are a smart setup on their own: a white dot up front paired with a blacked-out rear that keeps your eye where it belongs. A flat-faced trigger with a clean, predictable break rounds out the business end, and the undercut trigger guard lets you choke up high on the frame for better recoil control. There's a rail up front if you want to hang a light on it too.

The MC9L slide is cut for micro red dots that use the Shield RMSc footprint, which covers a lot of popular compact optics like the Holosun 407K and 507K series and the Shield RMSc itself. No adapter plate needed for direct-mount RMSc optics. If your dot uses a different footprint, check with the optic maker for a compatible plate.
