The Bulldog BD860 is a straightforward way to carry a handgun without broadcasting it to everyone around you. Built around a universal internal holster, it swallows most compact and mid-size pistols and a good number of revolvers, then hides them behind the look of a plain black waist pack. Nobody clocks a fanny pack as a gun holster, and that is exactly the point.
The outer shell is heavy-duty 1200 denier nylon with a water-resistant finish, so it shrugs off drizzle, sweat, and the general beating that gear takes at the range or on a trail. Inside, there is a full 1.75 inches of soft padding wrapped around the gun compartment. That cushion does two jobs: it protects your pistol and it keeps grips and hammers from poking you when you sit or bend.
This is an ambidextrous setup, so lefties and righties are covered without hunting for a hand-specific model. The quick-release lanyard pulls sit on the main compartment, and a firm tug opens the full-length zipper to expose your firearm. No snaps, no Velcro flap to fight with. The universal holster inside adjusts to hold your pistol in place, and there are several extra pockets and compartments for a spare magazine, phone, keys, a compact light, or a folding knife.
The wrap-around nylon carry straps with buckle closure adjust out to a 50 inch waist, so it works over light layers or a jacket.
