The 5/8×24 muzzle threads come with a protector installed, and once you spin a can on, you end up with a rifle that balances like a full-size gun but slips through truck cabs, box blinds, and thick timber without a fight. The barrel is free floated and the action is bedded at the recoil lug and action screws, so accuracy holds steady even when the weather does not.
The OD Green Vari-Tech composite stock is where this rifle really separates itself from the pack. Length of pull adjusts with solid, rattle-free spacers, the comb sets to three heights so your eye lines up behind the scope naturally, and the grip swaps between sporter and vertical modules depending on how you like to run a rifle. Black overmolded panels keep your hands planted in wet or cold conditions, and a thick Inflex recoil pad softens what little the 6.5 Creedmoor gives back.
The second-generation X-Bolt action adds extra bolt guidance surface for a noticeably smoother stroke, and the fluted three-lug bolt keeps the fast 60 degree lift that clears big scope eyepieces. The DLX trigger breaks clean at hunting weights, the top-tang safety works with a bolt unlock button for safe unloading, and the flush-fit rotary magazine feeds four rounds straight into the chamber without side bias. The matte blued receiver is drilled and tapped for Browning's X-Lock mounting system, which anchors each base with four screws. Deer stand, coyote patrol, fence line duty, this one covers all of it.
Yes, that is a big part of the design. The muzzle comes threaded 5/8×24 with a protector installed, so most common rifle suppressors and muzzle devices spin right on. The short 16.5 inch barrel was chosen specifically so the rifle still handles well with a can attached.
More than most hunting stocks. Length of pull adjusts with included spacers, the comb has three height positions to line your eye up with the scope, and you can swap between the sporter and vertical grip modules that come with the rifle. It gives you chassis-style fit adjustments in a traditional-looking stock.
No sights or bases are included. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Browning's X-Lock mounting system, which secures each scope base with four screws instead of two for a rock-solid hold. You will want to pick up X-Lock bases and rings or an X-Lock rail to mount your optic.
This model feeds from a detachable flush-fit rotary magazine that holds 4 rounds, giving you 4+1 total capacity. The rotary design centers each cartridge as it feeds, so rounds chamber smoothly without left or right bias. One magazine ships with the rifle.
