Yes, that's one of the strong suits of the Power Drive gas system. It was tuned to run everything from light 2.75 inch target loads up to heavy 3 inch hunting shells without adjustment. It also bleeds off excess gas with stout loads, which keeps felt recoil down and follow-up shots quick.
It ships with three flush-fit Invector-Plus tubes: Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder. That covers most upland, waterfowl, and clays situations right out of the box. The Invector-Plus system pairs with the back-bored barrel to reduce shot deformation and tighten up pattern consistency, and aftermarket tubes in that pattern are easy to find if you want something specialized.
You can. The Black Gold includes a shim kit that lets you tweak length of pull, cast, and drop so the gun mounts and points naturally for your build. Getting the fit dialed in makes a real difference in how consistently you break targets and connect on birds.
It genuinely does both well.
