That hinge gives the action roughly 300 percent more pivot surface than a typical trunnion design, so it wears in instead of wearing out, and rectangular locking pins keep everything locked up tight season after season. The mechanical Reverse Striker trigger is a big deal for waterfowlers too. It does not need recoil to set the second hammer, so if a light load or a misfire happens on the bottom barrel, the top one is still ready to go. When a flock is cupped up over the decoys, that matters.
The 3.5 inch chambers let you run full house goose loads when you need them, and the long travel Inflex recoil pad does a genuinely good job of soaking up the hit. An adjustable comb and included quarter inch stock spacer let you dial the fit to your face and layers, which pays off in more consistent mounts on cold mornings. The 26 inch vent rib barrels swing quick in tight timber and cramped blinds, with ivory front and mid beads riding a 60/40 point of impact.
Browning includes three extended Invector-Plus Goose Band choke tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder, so you are covered from decoying birds to passing shots right out of the box. At around 7.4 pounds it carries fine on a long walk in and still settles down nicely for the shot. This is the rare over under you can hunt hard without a second thought.

The 26 inch setup is the quickest handling of the bunch, which is a real advantage in flooded timber, layout blinds, and boats where space is tight. You give up a little of the smooth, deliberate swing the longer barrels offer on passing shots, but for fast shooting over decoys the shorter barrels are hard to beat. It also makes the gun a bit lighter and easier to pack in.
