Browning Citori 825 Trap 12 Gauge 32in Over Under Shotgun

Description

Trap is a game of repetition, and the Citori 825 Trap is built around doing the same thing perfectly every single time. The 32 inch barrels wear a high-post rib that pairs with the raised Monte Carlo comb to lock your eye into that classic figure-eight sight picture with the HiViz Pro-Comp fiber optic front and ivory mid-bead. The vertical grip with palm swell and adjustable Triple Trigger System let you settle into an identical hold from station one through station five, which is exactly what you want when the difference between a 23 and a 25 comes down to consistency.

What Makes the Citori 825 Different

The 825 is the newest chapter in the Citori line, and Browning did more than just refresh the engraving. The low-profile steel receiver drops the bore line closer to your shoulder, which tames muzzle jump and keeps the gun swinging flat. The Fire Lite 2 mechanical trigger breaks clean and doesn't rely on recoil to set the second barrel, so light loads cycle without a hiccup. Controls got attention too, with a slimmer tang safety and selector, a more ergonomic top lever, and a larger forearm latch that makes takedown easier. Underneath it all sits the same full-width hinge pin and tapered locking lug design that has made the Citori a generational gun for over fifty years.

Wood, Finish, and Fit on the 825 Trap

The Grade III/IV checkered walnut buttstock and semi-beavertail forearm with finger grooves give this gun real presence on the rack, set off by the engraved silver nitride receiver against matte blued barrels. An Inflex II recoil pad soaks up the thump and directs the comb down and away from your cheek, so a 100-bird practice session doesn't leave you sore. With 2.75 inch chambers, five extended Invector-DS choke tubes from Modified up through Full, and Miroku's proven build quality behind it, this is a trap gun you buy once and shoot for decades.
