The Buck Mark has been one of the most respected rimfire pistols on the market since Browning introduced it in 1985, and for good reason. This Field Target Micro version takes all the things that made the original great and wraps them up in a more compact 8" overall package. The frame starts life as a solid billet of aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum, then gets CNC-machined to exacting tolerances. The result is a pistol that feels tight, tracks consistently, and holds up to serious round counts without drama.
The 4" bull barrel is where a lot of the accuracy story lives. It's cut from steel, hand-reamed at the chamber, and finished with a recessed muzzle crown that protects the rifling from bumps and dings that could throw off accuracy. That extra barrel mass up front also helps steady the pistol during slow-fire target shooting. The Pro-Target rear sight gives you 16 clicks per revolution of adjustment, which is more precision than the typical 12-click sight you'll find on most rimfire pistols. The Picatinny rail runs along the top of the slide, giving you a solid base for a red dot or compact scope without needing to buy a separate mount. The sights are not slide-mounted, meaning they stay fixed and don't move during the cycling action, which is a real plus for consistency. Controls fall right where you'd expect them: the slide lock and manual safety operate similarly to a 1911, and the magazine release sits adjacent to the trigger guard for quick, natural access.
