The Buck Mark has been a mainstay on rimfire firing lines for decades, and this Vision Americana version might be the most striking one Browning has built. The blue anodized frame is paired with a red inner barrel wrapped in a blue aluminum Vision sleeve, machined with stars and stripes that you can see and feel. It turns heads at the range, but there is real engineering underneath the paint job.
Instead of a heavy solid steel barrel, the Vision system uses a slim steel inner barrel under tension inside an aluminum outer sleeve. The result is a full 5.87 inch sight radius in a pistol that weighs around 27 ounces, so it points fast and stays comfortable through long range sessions. The muzzle is threaded 1/2"-28 and ships with a removable muzzle brake, so adding a suppressor or other muzzle device is a simple swap. With subsonic 22 LR and a can, this thing is about as pleasant as shooting gets.
A TruGlo fiber optic front sight pairs with Browning's Pro-Target rear, which adjusts at 16 clicks per revolution for finer tuning than most factory sights offer. Prefer a red dot? The full length Picatinny rail on top takes care of that without any gunsmithing. The single action blowback design gives you a light, crisp trigger pull, and the frame starts as a billet of 7075 aircraft grade aluminum that gets CNC machined to tight tolerances. The chamber is hand reamed and the muzzle crown is recessed, which is a big part of why Buck Marks shoot the way they do.
UFX overmolded rubber grips fill the hand nicely and soak up what little recoil a 22 LR produces. The steel 10-round magazine runs a coil spring rather than a z-spring for better feeding and longer service life. Yes. The barrel is threaded 1/2"-28, which is the standard pattern for rimfire suppressors, and it comes with a removable muzzle brake protecting the threads. Spin the brake off, thread your can on, and you're set. Paired with subsonic 22 LR ammo, it makes for an extremely quiet range setup.
You can. It comes with a full length Picatinny rail on top, so most micro red dots will mount up with a Picatinny compatible base or mount plate. No drilling, tapping, or gunsmithing required. The iron sights are quality pieces too, so you're covered either way.

Like most rimfire semi-autos, it tends to run best with quality high velocity loads, especially when shooting unsuppressed.
