Instead of the all-steel construction Bond is known for, this one pairs a matte stainless 3 inch barrel with a frame machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. The result comes in around 12 ounces, roughly half the weight of a traditional Bond derringer, with a profile that measures under an inch wide when you run the slim grips. For a two-shot .380 ACP built for deep concealment, that math works out really well.
Anyone who has handled a Bond pistol will feel right at home. The barrel tips up on a removable hinge pin for loading, and a cammed locking lever snaps it shut and holds it tight. The single action trigger requires you to cock the hammer for each shot, and Bond builds in a crossbolt safety, rebounding hammer, and retracting firing pin for peace of mind during carry. Sights are simple and rugged: a fixed front blade machined into the barrel and a rear notch milled right into the hinge. Nothing to snag, nothing to knock out of alignment. And this frame was not rushed to market. Bond spent several years and multiple design generations developing it, including stress testing measured in thousands of rounds plus proof load testing.
Each Stinger ships with two grip modules: a rubber set that soaks up recoil and fills the hand at the range, and a thin Zytel polymer set that shaves the width down for the smoothest possible carry. Swapping between them takes minutes, so you can shoot comfortable and carry slim without buying anything extra.
The Stinger fills a specific role, and it fills it well. It slides into a pocket, a boot, or a backup rig where even a micro-compact semi-auto feels bulky, and it does so with the fit and finish Bond Arms built its name on. Two rounds of .380 ACP in a package this thin and this light is a combination not much else on the shelf can match.

With the slim polymer grips installed it also measures under an inch wide, so it carries noticeably easier while keeping the same tip-up barrel design and build quality.
Bond Arms ships the Stinger with two complete grip sets. There is a rubber grip that gives you more to hold onto and softens recoil at the range, plus a thin Zytel polymer grip that keeps the width down for concealment. You can swap between them depending on whether you are practicing or carrying.
Yes. It uses a crossbolt safety that blocks the hammer from moving forward until you are ready to fire. Bond also builds in a rebounding hammer and retracting firing pin, which add extra layers of security for everyday carry. The single action trigger means the hammer has to be manually cocked before each shot as well.
Since .380 ACP is a rimless cartridge, the Stinger's barrel does not use a manual extractor like the rimmed revolver caliber Bond models. Instead there is a relief notch cut into the side of the chambers, so you tip the barrel up and lift the empty cases out with a thumbnail or the rim of a fresh cartridge. It is a simple system that works fine with a little practice.
