It is a thoughtful setup for a firearm designed to ride in a pocket.

The main difference is the frame. This Stinger uses a hard anodized aluminum frame that brings the weight down to roughly 12 ounces, while the Stinger RS uses a stainless steel frame with the Rough Series finish. Both share the 3 inch stainless double barrels, crossbolt safety, and slim profile, but this version is the lighter of the two.
It is a break-action design, so you work the release lever to tip the barrels open, drop a round into each chamber, and snap it shut. To fire, manually cock the external hammer and press the trigger, then cock it again for the second shot. A spent shell extractor helps you clear the empties when you reload.
No, this model does not accept the interchangeable barrels that Bond Arms offers for its traditional double barrel pistols. The Stinger frame and barrel setup is its own platform, and Bond Arms does not sell .22 LR accessory barrels separately. If barrel swapping matters to you, look at their original steel-frame lineup instead.
It is a solid pick for that role. The .22 LR chambering produces very little recoil, the single action operation is about as simple as a pistol gets, and the rebounding hammer, retracting firing pins, and crossbolt safety add multiple layers of protection. Just keep in mind it holds two rounds, so it rewards deliberate, aimed shooting.
