The 30th Anniversary model celebrates that milestone on the company's Rough Series hand-cannon frame, topped with a special edition 3 inch stainless barrel that's engraved on both sides. One side commemorates three decades of Bond Arms, and the other side is a nod to America itself. This is a limited production run, so it lands squarely in that sweet spot between working gun and collector piece.
The .45 Colt/.410 chambering is the most popular barrel combo Bond Arms makes, and for good reason. You can load full-power .45 Colt for a serious two-shot punch, or drop in 2.5 inch .410 shotshells for snakes, pests, and close-range defensive loads. The single action operation is dead simple: cock the hammer, press the trigger. Bond's patented rebounding hammer, retracting firing pins, and crossbolt safety bring genuine modern engineering to a design that dates back to the Old West, which is exactly what separates these from the cheap pot-metal derringers of decades past. Fixed sights and a consistent trigger keep it dependable, and the standard rubber panel grips keep the whole package slim.
The Rough Series finish trades the high polish of Bond's classic line for a rugged matte stainless look that shrugs off honest wear, so you don't have to feel bad about carrying it. The frame accepts the full range of interchangeable Bond Arms barrels too, meaning this anniversary edition can swap calibers down the road just like any other Bond. At around 5 inches overall and roughly 20 ounces of solid stainless steel, it disappears into a pocket or pack while still handling stout loads. Whether it ends up in your rotation or in the safe next to your other commemoratives, this one tells a story worth keeping.
The 3 inch barrel is chambered for both .45 Colt and 2.5 inch .410 bore shotshells, and you can mix and match between the two barrels. That flexibility is a big part of why the 45/410 combo is Bond's most popular chambering. Note that 3 inch .410 shells will not fit in this 2.5 inch chamber.
Yes. Bond Arms released the 30th, 30th XL, and 30th VET as a limited production run celebrating the company's 30 years in business since 1995. Each one features special commemorative engraving on both sides of the barrel, and they're only available while the run lasts.
You can. The 30th is built on Bond's standard Rough Series frame, which is compatible with the full lineup of interchangeable Bond Arms barrels. A single hex wrench is all it takes to change calibers or barrel lengths, so this frame can run everything from .22 LR to .45-70 barrels down the road.
Both share the same engraved 3 inch .45 Colt/.410 barrel and Rough Series stainless frame. The difference comes down to grips: the standard 30th wears thin rubber panel grips for the slimmest carry profile, while the XL upgrades to extended B6 resin grips that give bigger hands more to hold onto. If concealment is the priority, the standard 30th is the trimmer of the two.
