There's a big difference between punching paper bullseyes and actually seeing where your shots land on an animal-sized target. The Birchwood Casey PREGAME Mule Deer Target closes that gap with a life-size, full-color mule deer printed on splattering paper, so you can practice shot placement the way it matters when the season rolls around. At 16.5 by 24 inches, it gives you a realistic body to work with instead of a floating circle.
The splatter is what makes these fun. Every bullet hole rings out in a bright color against the paper, so you can spot your groups from the bench without hiking downrange after each string. Hits inside the marked vital area react with a highly visible fluorescent red circle, while shots that stray outside land with a white ring. That color coding tells you at a glance whether your rifle is dialed in and whether you're consistently finding the boiler room.
These work with just about anything you bring to the range. Rifles, handguns, and muzzleloaders all leave a clean, readable splatter, and the targets are equally handy for load testing, checking a new scope, or just goofing off with buddies. The hanging setup keeps things simple, so you can clip one to a frame or backer and get to shooting.
A three-pack gives you enough to run through different loads or step back to a few different distances without burning through your whole stash. If you can't keep your shots grouped in the vitals at a given range, that's good info to have before you're sitting in a blind. Think of these as a pre-season gut check that also happens to be a good time at the bench.
Each target is printed on splattering paper, so bullet holes ring out in a bright color the moment they hit. Shots in the marked vital area react with a fluorescent red circle, while hits outside the vitals show a white ring. That makes it easy to read your groups from the bench without walking downrange.
They work with all firearms and calibers, so rifles, handguns, and muzzleloaders all leave a clean, visible splatter. That flexibility makes a single three-pack useful whether you're sighting in a deer rifle or just running your pistol at the range.
Each target measures 16.5 by 24 inches, giving you a realistic, animal-sized body to practice shot placement on. They come three to a pack, which is enough to test different loads or shoot from a few distances in one trip.
These are hanging paper targets, so you can clip or staple them to a standard target frame or backer board. There's no adhesive backing, so plan to bring clips, tape, or staples to your setup.
