The Wolf Gray version pairs a muted, low-profile polymer frame with a black steel slide, and the two-tone look gives it some personality without being flashy. At 0.9 inches wide and 4.17 inches tall, it's one of the slimmest carry-oriented 9mms in its class, and the sub-20-ounce unloaded weight means you won't feel like you're lugging a brick around by the end of the day.
The A1 designation represents a meaningful improvement over the original APX Carry. Beretta shortened and lightened the trigger pull, giving it a cleaner break and a quicker reset than its predecessor. The passive safety system relies on both a trigger blade safety and a firing pin block, so there's no external manual safety to think about during a draw. Aggressive front slide serrations give you a confident grip on the slide even with wet or cold hands, and the striker deactivation button means you never have to press the trigger to field strip it, a small but appreciated detail.
The slide comes milled from the factory with a proprietary optic cut that accepts mounting plates for Burris, C-More, Shield, and Holosun footprints. The standard 8-round extended magazine gives you a full firing grip and a little something for your pinky finger to hold onto, which makes a real difference on a gun this small. The white dot front sight pairs with a plain black rear for fast target acquisition under normal lighting. No accessory rail on the frame, so weapon lights aren't an option here, but for a deep-concealment pistol in this footprint, that's a reasonable trade.

The slide accepts adapter plates for Burris/Docter, C-More, Shield, and Holosun K Series red dots, covering most of the popular micro red dot options on the market. The plates are available for purchase separately if you want additional options. Keep in mind that standard-height iron sights won't co-witness with a mounted optic, so suppressor-height sights would be needed if that matters to you.
