The BCM Quick Detach Sling Swivel with a 1" D-Ring is one of those small parts that makes a big difference in how your rifle carries and handles. It drops into any standard QD socket and gives you a low-profile, grab-and-go attachment point for your 1" sling. Bravo Company machines the body from carbon steel and finishes it in manganese phosphate, so it holds up to the kind of use that chews through cheaper swivels. Each one is tumble-deburred and sandblasted before plating, which is why the fit feels clean and the edges won't snag on your gear.
The contoured shape is the star here. It's built for one-handed operation, so you can detach and reattach your sling without taking your eyes off what you're doing. The D-ring itself is compact, which folks who run 1" webbing appreciate because it doesn't eat up extra room the way an oversized loop can. It plays nicely with popular setups like the Ferro Concepts Slingster and other 1" two-point and single-point slings.
This is the kind of part that shows up on hard-use rifles for good reason. The flush push-button release stays locked until you deliberately pop it, so there's no worrying about your gun coming loose mid-transition. Some users even let the swivel and mount ride high enough to act as a handy forward reference point when they need it. On an AR-15, modern sporting rifle, or shotgun with a QD socket, it just works and keeps working.
If you're already running BCM parts or you just want a swivel that matches the quality of your build, this is an easy call. Made in the USA, sized for 1" slings, and finished to survive whatever your range days and hunts throw at it.
This swivel is built specifically for 1" wide slings. The compact D-ring keeps things tight and low-profile, which is a big plus if you don't need the extra room a wider loop takes up. If you're running a 1.25" sling, you'll want BCM's standard-size swivel instead.
Yes, it fits any standard push-button QD socket, so it drops right into QD points on AR-15s, other modern sporting rifles, and shotguns. It also pairs well with QD end plates and mounts. The flush release button stays locked until you deliberately press it, so it won't come loose on its own.
That's exactly what the contoured body is designed for. You can attach and detach your sling with one hand without fumbling, which is handy during transitions or when your other hand is busy. The shape is smooth and deburred so nothing snags.
It's machined from carbon steel and finished in corrosion-resistant manganese phosphate, so it's built for hard, repeated use. BCM tumble-deburrs and sandblasts each one before plating for a clean, consistent finish. It's a common pick for duty and field rifles for that reason.
