You keep the same familiar receiver and just swap in a 6.5 Grendel bolt and magazines, and suddenly you've got a flat-shooting round that stays supersonic well past 1,000 yards with the right loads. This particular barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel and wears a QPQ nitride finish, so it holds up to weather, fouling, and long range days without babying it.
Ballistic Advantage's SPR profile sits in that sweet spot between a pencil barrel and a heavy bull barrel. Since the 6mm ARC is based on the 6.5 Grendel case, you'll need a 6.5 Grendel bolt carrier group and 6.5 Grendel pattern magazines to run it. The barrel uses a standard AR-15 barrel extension, so your existing upper receiver will work fine. You'll also want a gas block, gas tube, and handguard sized for a mid-length setup.
