Battle Arms Development builds this one to mil-spec dimensions from precision CNC-machined 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with an impact-forged construction, so it holds tight tolerances and stands up to hard use.
This is a carbine-length receiver extension with six adjustment notches, giving you the standard range of length-of-pull positions most collapsible stocks are designed around. The mil-spec outer diameter runs about 1.148 inches with a flat, straight rear profile, which is the setup nearly every modern aftermarket stock is built for. Magpul, B5 Systems, BCM and the rest of the usual suspects all make mil-spec stocks that slide right on. It drops onto any standard AR-15, M16, or M4 lower receiver without drama.
Battle Arms finishes the tube with a Type III hard-coat black anodize. That hard anodizing does more than look sharp. It adds a tough, corrosion-resistant layer that shrugs off sweat, weather, and the friction of your stock riding back and forth across the notches.
