Developed by MultiTasker in partnership with B5 Systems, this one-piece design tucks neatly inside a specially inletted B5 buttpad so it rides along on your carbine without adding bulk or a visible footprint. When you need it, you press the release tabs on the buttpad and it comes right out, no separate tools required.

What the M4 Multi-Tasker Tool Actually Does

Despite the compact size, this thing earns its keep with four functions dot-coded onto the body so you can identify them at a glance. You get a 1/4-inch slotted screwdriver, a castle nut spanner wrench for stock work, a 1/2-inch hex for scope rings and mounts, and a bolt override for clearing malfunctions. That covers the stuff most AR owners run into on the range or during a build, from tightening a loose optic to sorting out a stubborn bolt.

How the M4 Multi-Tasker Is Built

B5 didn't cut corners on the construction. The tool is precision machined from solid bar stock steel using wire-EDM and CNC processes, so it holds up to repeated use without flexing or rounding off. It's proudly made in the USA and measures roughly 3.82 inches long, keeping the whole package light at just over an ounce.

One thing worth knowing up front: the B5 buttpad that this nests into is sold separately. The Multi-Tasker is designed to live inside that inletted pad, so if you want the full hidden-storage setup, you'll want to grab the matching B5 buttpad too. On its own, the tool still works great as a slim addition to a pack, glove box, or cleaning kit.
