The SAM7SF-84E comes out of Arsenal's factory in Bulgaria, where each receiver starts life as a hot-die hammer-forged blank before going through more than five hours of machining. That milled and forged construction is the heart of this rifle, and it is a big part of why SAM7 series guns have the reputation they do. Pair that with a 16.33 inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel produced on Steyr-derived tooling and you have a 7.62×39 rifle built to run hard for decades.

What Sets the SAM7SF-84E Apart

The E in the model name means this one ships with the enhanced fire control group, which uses a single-hook trigger and a redesigned disconnector to shorten travel, lighten the pull, and get rid of the trigger slap that plagues so many AK pattern rifles. The right-side folding tubular buttstock locks up tight and folds the rifle down to a much more packable length, and since the stock folds to the right, any optic you mount on the included side scope rail stays put.
