Anyone who's carried or competed with a Gen 3 or Gen 4 Glock knows the stock trigger has that famous spongy feel. Apex built this Action Enhancement Kit to clean that up without turning your pistol into a project gun. It's a straight drop-in swap that replaces the factory polymer trigger, connector, and safety plunger, and it doesn't require any fitting or filing to get running.
The kit bundles three pieces that work together: the Apex Polymer Action Enhancement Trigger with an attached Gen 3 trigger bar, an Apex Performance Connector, and the Apex Ultimate Safety Plunger. Together they smooth out the uptake and reset, trim pre-travel and overall travel, and shorten the reset distance so you can get back on target faster. You'll also feel a crisper break and roughly a one-pound drop in pull weight compared to stock. The trigger keeps a center-mounted pivoting safety, so the pistol retains its factory safety values. One thing worth noting up front is the trigger bar finish may show up as matte nickel or bright nickel depending on the batch, and both perform identically.
This is the standard-frame kit, so it covers a big chunk of the lineup: the G17, G17L, G19, G22, G23, G24, G26, G27, G31, G32, G33, G34, G35, G37, G38, and G39. It does not fit the 10mm, .45 ACP, or .45 GAP models, and it isn't made for Gen 5 pistols. Apex also doesn't recommend it for aftermarket frames like Shadow Systems or PSA Dagger builds, so keep that in mind if you're running something other than a factory Glock.
Folks who've installed one tend to be pleased with how easy the swap goes and how much better the gun feels afterward. Not at all. Everything is a direct drop-in replacement, so there's no fitting, filing, or gunsmithing needed. Most people can knock it out at home with basic Glock takedown tools, and the improvement over the factory trigger is noticeable right away.
