There are not many suppressors that will happily live on a 9mm pistol one weekend and a .338 Lapua the next, but that is exactly the lane the AnechoX 35 runs in. Anechoic built this can around a max bullet diameter of .358 inches, so anything from subsonic 9mm up through 35 caliber rifle rounds and .338 magnums is fair game. At 6.6 inches long, 1.6 inches in diameter, and 8.3 ounces bare (9.1 ounces with the included direct thread adapter), it is one of the lightest big-bore-capable titanium cans you can hang on a rifle, which matters a whole lot when you are packing a bolt gun miles into elk country.
The body is Grade 5 titanium, but Anechoic was smart about where the abuse happens. The blast chamber and blast baffles are 17-4 stainless, so the parts that take the worst of the heat and erosion right off the muzzle are built to handle it. Inside, the X-Baffle Anechoic Chamber System uses an interrupted central tube to manage gas flow, delivering up to 34 dB of sound reduction while keeping back pressure down. On AR platforms that means less gas in your face and fewer cycling headaches, and the can is full-auto rated to 100 rounds of 9mm and 50 rounds of 5.56. The whole thing is wrapped in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote C Series, a high-temp ceramic finish that shrugs off hard use in the field.
A 1/2×28 direct thread adapter comes installed, and the rear accepts industry standard 1-3/8×24 mounts, so pistons, tri-lugs, QD systems, and HUB accessories all play nice. It is fully user serviceable too, so you can break it down for cleaning after a steady diet of dirty pistol ammo instead of sending it off. Anechoic also includes a caliber-specific Quiet Cap alongside the standard Flow-Cap, letting you tune the can for maximum quiet or maximum flow depending on the host. For a hunter or multi-gun owner who wants one can to cover nearly everything in the safe, this one is tough to beat.
The AnechoX 35 accepts anything with a bullet diameter of .358 inches or smaller, which covers 9mm and .357 caliber handguns, 5.56 and .308 rifles, 8.6 Blackout, 350 Legend, and magnums all the way up to .338 Lapua. It ships with a 1/2×28 direct thread adapter already installed, and the rear thread is the industry standard 1-3/8×24 pattern. That means it accepts HUB-compatible mounts, pistons and boosters for pistols, tri-lugs, QD mounts, and Anechoic's own direct thread adapters. You can move it between hosts without being locked into one mounting system.
Yes, that is one of its strong suits. The flow-through X-Baffle design keeps back pressure change to a minimum, so you get far less gas blowback in your face and fewer cycling issues on AR-15 and AR-10 platforms. It is even full-auto rated to 50 rounds of 5.56 and 100 rounds of 9mm carbine.
You can. The AnechoX 35 is fully user serviceable and comes with tools that positively engage the hub end for takedown. That matters most if you plan to run dirty subsonic pistol ammo through it regularly, since rifle-only cans tend to self-clean while pistol fouling builds up over time.
