Akkar builds each High Noon on a frame scaled to its gauge, so this .410 is not a small bore stuffed into a 20 gauge receiver. The result is a slim, quick handling double that carries easily on long walks and swings naturally when a bird gets up or a clay leaves the trap.
The Elite is the dressed up version of the High Noon line, and it shows. The receiver wears tasteful engraving under a high gloss OxyCap finish, a treatment Akkar uses for its abrasion and corrosion resistance as much as its deep, glossy look. The upgraded high select walnut is the real draw here, paired with a Prince of Wales style grip and clean checkering that gives you a secure hold without roughing up your hands. The 28-inch blued barrels carry a raised 9mm vent rib, which keeps the sight picture trim instead of giving you that wide barrel view some side by sides are known for. A white dot front sight rounds out the sighting setup.
With 3-inch chambers, this gun runs everything from light 2.5-inch target loads to full power 3-inch field shells, and the five included flush mount choke tubes (Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Cylinder) let you tighten or open patterns for whatever you are chasing. The tang safety and barrel selector are simple and intuitive, so new double gun owners will feel at home quickly. It gets its own scaled frame. Akkar builds each gauge in the High Noon line on a gauge-specific receiver, so the .410 version is genuinely slim and light rather than a small bore barrel set on a 20 gauge frame. That is a feature usually reserved for much more expensive doubles, and it makes a big difference in how the gun carries and swings.
It ships with five flush-mount choke tubes: Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Cylinder. That full spread lets you pattern anything from close flushing birds to longer crossing clays without buying extra tubes out of the gate.
The High Noon Elite handles both 2.5-inch and 3-inch .410 shells, so standard target loads and heavier field loads all run fine. That flexibility makes it easy to shoot cheap light loads for practice and step up to 3-inch shells when hunting.
The Elite steps up the wood and the looks. You get upgraded high select walnut with more figure and an engraved receiver under the high gloss OxyCap finish, where the standard model wears plainer wood and a cleaner receiver. Mechanically the two share the same barrels, chokes, tang safety, and gauge-specific frames.
