Description

The AimShot MTML-QD is a tool-free way to put a quick-detach sling socket exactly where you want it on an M-LOK handguard. It uses a locking button system: press the buttons, drop it into an M-LOK slot, release and press down to seat it firmly, and it stays put until you squeeze the buttons and pull it back off. No Allen wrenches, no fumbling with tiny hardware at the bench or in the field.

The QD socket accepts standard push-button quick-detach sling swivels, so it plays nice with whatever QD sling you already run. On top of the sling function, it carries a short section of Picatinny rail, giving you a spot to add a small accessory if you need it down the road. The body is machined aluminum with a black anodized finish, keeping it light and low-profile on the gun.

What Sets the MTML-QD Apart

The big draw here is placement flexibility. Because it clamps on tool-free, you can slide your sling attachment point forward or back along the rail to balance the rifle the way you like it, then move it again later if your setup changes. That kind of on-the-fly adjustment is handy for anyone who switches between a bench, a stand, or a carry setup.

Fitment Notes for the AimShot QD Socket

This mount is designed to work on metal M-LOK rail sections running between 2 and 3mm thick, which covers the vast majority of aluminum handguards out there. It's worth a quick check against your rail before mounting so you get that solid, locked-in feel. If your handguard falls in that range, the MTML-QD gives you a clean, repeatable sling point that won't wander.

All told, it's a practical little piece for folks who want a QD sling option without permanently committing real estate on their rail. Simple to install, simple to move, and built to take standard swivels you probably already own.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of sling swivel does the MTML-QD work with?

The socket accepts standard push-button quick-detach sling swivels. If you already run a common QD sling, it should drop right in. This makes it easy to move your existing sling over without buying new hardware.

Do I need tools to install the AimShot MTML-QD?

No tools are needed. You press the buttons, insert the mount into an M-LOK slot, release the buttons, and press down to seat it firmly. To take it off, squeeze the buttons and pull it away from the rail.

Will the MTML-QD fit my M-LOK handguard?

It's made to work on metal M-LOK rail sections between 2 and 3mm (about .08 to .11 inches) thick, which covers most standard aluminum handguards. It's a good idea to check your rail thickness before mounting so you get a secure, locked-in fit. Rails outside that range may not hold the mount properly.

Can I move the sling point after it's installed?

Yes, that's one of the main perks. Since it mounts tool-free, you can reposition the QD socket to different spots along your rail to balance the rifle or change your setup, or pull it off entirely when you don't need it.
