Description
The SKS is a great old workhorse, but that fixed wood stock was built for a different era. ATI's Strikeforce Gen 2 in Urban Combat gives your rifle a full personality change, swapping out the traditional furniture for an adjustable, folding, rail-ready setup that handles a whole lot better at the range. It's built from DuPont extreme-temperature glass-reinforced polymer, so it shrugs off weather, chemicals, and rough handling without complaint.
What the Strikeforce Gen 2 Brings to Your SKS
The heart of this stock is the TactLite six-position adjustable buttstock, which lets you dial in your length of pull for a fit that works whether you're in a t-shirt or a heavy coat. It folds to the left side of the receiver for compact storage and transport, and you can still fire the rifle with it folded if you need to. ATI's TracLOCK system locks the stock down on the buffer tube and cuts out the horizontal and vertical wobble you'd otherwise get, which keeps things feeling solid shot after shot.
Recoil, Cheek Weld, and Mounting Room
Up top you get a removable, adjustable cheekrest so you can build a proper cheek weld, which matters a lot once you throw a red dot or scope on the rifle. The X Series thin recoil pad and X1-style pistol grip with sure-grip texture take the edge off the 7.62×39 kick and give you more positive control. For accessories, there's a 4-inch Picatinny rail plus three 2-inch rails and a 2-inch rail with a swivel stud, along with blank covers for the rails you're not using and extra ventilation in the forend and top cover.
Fit and Install Notes
This one drops onto most SKS rifles, though the blade bayonet has to come off first and some rifles may need minor fitting to seat everything just right. That's normal territory with SKS variants since they were never built to tight modern tolerances. Mounting hardware comes in the box, it's made in the USA, and it's backed by ATI's limited lifetime warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the ATI Strikeforce stock fit my SKS?
It's designed to fit most SKS rifles, including common Yugo, Norinco, and Russian variants. The blade bayonet has to be removed for installation, and since SKS rifles were never built to tight modern tolerances, some rifles may need minor fitting to seat everything perfectly. Many owners find it drops right in, while others do a little light filing to get the ideal fit.
Can I fire the SKS with the Strikeforce stock folded?
Yes. The stock folds to the left side of the receiver and is designed so you can still fire the rifle in the folded position. That makes it handy for tight spaces and compact storage without pulling the stock off the gun.
Does this stock help with recoil on the SKS?
It does. The X Series thin recoil pad and textured X1-style pistol grip are built to soak up felt recoil and give you a more controlled grip, which makes for faster follow-up shots and more comfortable range sessions. The 7.62×39 round has a manageable kick to begin with, and this setup takes the edge off nicely.
Can I mount optics and accessories on the Strikeforce stock?
Absolutely. You get a 4-inch Picatinny rail, three 2-inch rails, and a 2-inch rail with a swivel stud, so there's plenty of room for lights, lasers, grips, and sling points. The adjustable cheekrest also helps you build a solid cheek weld once you add a red dot or scope. Keep in mind an SKS scope mount is a separate item if you plan to run glass over the receiver.
