The Action Target B-8 is one of those targets you'll recognize the second you unroll a sheet. It's the classic 25-yard timed and rapid fire bullseye that shows up everywhere from precision pistol matches to law enforcement qualification lines. Each sheet runs a generous 21 by 24 inches with a solid black bullseye and numbered scoring rings, so you get honest feedback on where every round lands instead of guessing.
The layout is the whole point here. A tight center bull surrounded by concentric rings numbered from 10 down to 7, plus an X-ring in the dead center that competition folks use to break ties. Score a sheet and you'll see your patterns clearly, whether you're pulling low-left from trigger jerk or drifting high-right on grip. It's the same pattern used in NRA precision pistol competition and countless pistol qualification courses, which is exactly why so many people default to it when they want a real measuring stick for handgun accuracy.
This target shines at 25 yards but it's plenty useful up close too. Plenty of drills call for it, like the classic 10-round hat qual where you draw and fire ten rounds inside a par time, then score your hits against a 100-point max. You can also run slow fire, five-round strings inside the black, or National Match style courses. Printed on heavy paper, these sheets hold up well on a target frame and hang cleanly for a consistent presentation every time.
A single box of 100 keeps you rolling through weeks of practice, group training, or match prep without another trip to restock. Range operators, instructors, and folks who just want a repeatable way to track progress tend to buy these by the box for good reason. Standardized, easy to score, and dependable print quality across the whole stack.
The B-8 is built for 25-yard timed and rapid fire pistol work, which is where it's used in NRA competition and many qualification courses. That said, it works great at shorter distances too if you're warming up or drilling fundamentals. Beginners often start closer and move back as their groups tighten.
Rings are numbered from 10 in the center out to 7 at the edge, with anything outside the 7-ring counting as a miss. There's also an X-ring in the dead center, still worth 10 points, that competition shooters use to break ties. A common qualification standard is a 100-point max where you need 90 or better to pass.
This B-8-100 is the standard black-and-white bullseye with a solid black bull and white scoring rings. Action Target also offers a separate version with a high-visibility orange center X-ring if that's what you're after. Both share the same 21 by 24 inch size and 25-yard pattern.
For most people a box of 100 lasts a good while, since a typical B-8 drill only uses one sheet for 10 or more rounds. If you're running group classes or heavy weekly practice you'll go through them faster, but the 100-count is sized to keep individual shooters stocked for a long stretch.
