The 6mm BR is one of the most respected cartridges in precision rifle work, and Alpha Munitions builds brass that lives up to that reputation. This box of 100 unprimed cases comes set up with small rifle primer pockets, which is the configuration most serious 6 BR shooters prefer for cleaner ignition and better longevity under pressure. If you've been chasing tight groups at the bench or on a match stage, starting with quality brass makes the whole process easier.
Every case is built around Alpha's Optimized Case Design paired with their case head technology. The idea is straightforward: tighter manufacturing tolerances and a beefed-up head that holds primer pockets in spec longer, even when you're running warmer loads and higher velocities. For a benchrest and PRS favorite like the 6 BR, that kind of case life pays off over many firings. The tooling is dialed in to produce very consistent internal case capacity and uniform neck tension, which means less prep work and more repeatable results when you sit down to load.
The 6mm BR, also called 6 BR Norma or 6mm Bench Rest, was born out of benchrest competition and has since picked up a loyal following among varmint hunters and precision shooters thanks to its efficiency. It sips powder, runs easy on barrels, and delivers accuracy that punches well above its size. Loaded right, it'll push a 105-grain bullet to serious match velocities without beating up your rifle.
These cases arrive in a custom Alpha Munitions plastic box with perforated bi-layer foam. It protects the brass in transit and doubles as a solid storage case for your finished handloads, so your prepped and loaded rounds stay organized and dinged-free between sessions. For reloaders who want a dependable platform to build a top-tier 6 BR load, this is a strong place to start.
This brass is set up with small rifle primer pockets. The SRP configuration is the popular choice among precision 6 BR shooters for its cleaner ignition and improved primer pocket life under pressure. You'll want small rifle primers on hand to load these.
No, these are new unprimed brass cases only. This is a reloading component, not loaded ammunition, so you'll supply your own primers, powder, and bullets to build your loads.
The 6mm BR uses the standard 30-degree shoulder, while the 6mm BRA is the Ackley Improved version with a 40-degree shoulder and more case capacity. This listing is the standard 6mm BR, not the BRA. Make sure your chamber matches the standard 6 BR before loading these.
Yes, that's exactly what it's built for. The Optimized Case Design and reinforced case head technology are engineered to extend primer pocket and overall case life even at elevated pressures and velocities. That's a big part of why it's a go-to for benchrest and PRS reloaders.
