The Beretta 92 has been earning its keep for decades, and the 92 Elite LTT II is what happens when Ernest Langdon and Beretta put their heads together to build the best version of it yet. This is the first 92 to leave the Beretta factory with Langdon Tactical's patented Low RDO optic cut already machined into the slide, which mounts a red dot lower than just about any other 92 solution out there. The result is a natural sight picture, faster dot pickup, and co-witness capable iron sights, with an RMR-pattern plate and mounting hardware included so you can bolt up an optic the day you bring it home.
This TJNRR configuration is the loaded version. You get the LTT trigger job with the Optimized Performance trigger bar for a smoother double action pull and a crisp, short-reset single action, plus NP3 coated internals for slick cycling and easy cleanup. The Inox stainless steel slide wears updated, extended serrations designed to be easy to grab even with a dot mounted, and the 4.7 inch stainless barrel features a combat target crown that protects the rifling. Underneath it all sits a black anodized aluminum Vertec frame with a Picatinny rail, extra beveling, front strap checkering, and Beretta's wraparound grip with variable density texturing that locks into the hand without chewing it up.
As a G-model, it decocks only, so you get the hammer-fired DA/SA experience without a safety lever to fumble. The all-metal build soaks up 9mm recoil and keeps the dot settled through fast strings, whether you are working a match stage, training for defensive use, or just enjoying a pistol that runs this smooth. Three Mec-Gar 18-round magazines come in the box, so you spend less time loading and more time pulling the trigger. If you have been waiting for a red dot ready 92 done right from the factory, this is the one that finally delivers it.
No optic is included, but the slide arrives with Langdon Tactical's patented Low RDO cut done at the Beretta factory, plus an RMR-pattern plate and mounting hardware in the box. The system mounts the dot roughly .85 inches above the bore with an RMR, which is as low or lower than most direct-milled setups. An iron sight cover plate is also included if you want to run it without an optic.
The TJNRR configuration adds the full LTT trigger job with the Optimized Performance trigger bar, NP3 coated internals, and the RMR optic plate on top of the standard Inox slide model. The trigger work smooths out the double action pull and gives the single action a crisp break with a short, defined reset. The NP3 coating keeps the internals slick and makes cleanup easier.
No, this is a G-model, which means the slide-mounted levers decock the hammer only and spring back up on their own. You still get the traditional DA/SA action, so the first pull is double action and follow-up shots are single action. Many people prefer this setup because there is no safety to accidentally leave engaged.
It ships with three Mec-Gar 18-round magazines, so you are set for range sessions or matches right away. Mec-Gar builds Beretta's factory magazines, and they have a strong reputation for reliable feeding in the 92 platform. The pistol also accepts other 92-series magazines if you want spares.
